Pumpkin Peanut Butter Milkshakes

A drinkable Halloween treat! A chocolate dream –sweet & creamy to get you in the mood for the spooky holiday. Enjoy! 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups homemade chocolate nice cream or chocolate ice cream of choice
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seed milk or other plant-based milk made with the NutraMilk
  • 3-4 tbsp. pumpkin purée
  • 2 tbsp. peanut butter made with the NutraMilk
  • 2 peanut butter cups or other chocolate of choice
  • Chocolate syrup or melted chocolate, for garnish

For peanut butter

  • 2 cups (275g) peanuts (untoasted, unsalted)
  • pinch salt (optional)

For pumpkin seed milk

  • 2/3 cup pumpkin seeds (90 g)
  • 1 quart water (946 mL)
  • pinch of Pink Himalayan salt (optional)

INGREDIENTS

  • Making the peanut butter
    • Place peanuts in the NutraMilk container.
    • Press Butter cycle, set for 2-3 minutes.
    • Press Start.
    • Open the container lid.
    • If necessary, set for an additional 1-2 minutes for a creamier butter. 
  • Making pumpkin seed milk
    • Place pumpkin seeds and salt in the NutraMilk container.
    • Press Butter cycle, set for 5-6 minutes.
    • Press Start.
    • Open the container lid, add water. Replace lid.
    • Press Mix (do not change this default time).
    • Press Start.
    • Press Dispense.
    • Press Start and open spigot to fill your storage container.

  • Add the ice cream, milk, pumpkin purée and ºpeanut butter the NutraMilk. Process until fully combined and smooth.
  • Pour the milkshake into a glass. Chop up the peanut butter cups or chocolate and use it to top the milkshake. Drizzle with chocolate syrup, if desired. Enjoy immediately!
