A stack of homemade Larabars

You can easily make and customize your own Larabars or any other type of snack bars with the NutraMilk. These are plant-based, made from whole, pure ingredients - very nutrient dense, gluten-free, dairy-free,  refined sugar-free. These are so versatile! They can be enjoyed as a snack for school, hiking, or anytime of the day. Customize ingredients to make the flavors you love. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

For basic bar

  • ½ cup dates
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup cashew butter made with the NutraMilk
  • ¼ cup almonds
  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Additional add in:

  • 1 cup dried apples for Apple pie flavor
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips or choice & 1 tsp. Vanilla essence for cookie dough flavor

For carrot cake flavor

  • ½ cup dates
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup dried pineapple
  • ¼ cup almonds
  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • ¼ cup cashew butter made with the NutraMIlk
  • ¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup shredded carrot (optional)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

For cashew butter

  • 2 cups (300g) cashews
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pink Himalayan salt (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Start by making cashew butter
    • Place cashews and salt in the NutraMilk container.
    • Press Butter cycle, set for 5-6 minutes.
    • Press Start.
    • Open the container lid.
    • If necessary, set for an additional 1-2 minutes for a creamier butter.
  • Add all the ingredients to the NutraMilk (if making Cookie Dough bars, do not add chocolate chips yet). Process until the ingredients are finely broken down and evenly combined.
  • Shape: Shape dough into a rectangle. It should be about ½ inch (1½ cm) thick.
  • For best cutting results, transfer to a plate or cutting board and freeze for 30 minutes.

  • Cut: Cut rectangle into bars. Wrap each bar in parchment or wax paper. Store in the fridge until ready to eat.
