Consuming a healthy diet throughout life helps to prevent malnutrition as well as a range of diseases. Increased availability of processed foods, rapid urbanization and changing lifestyles have led to a shift in dietary patterns. People are now consuming more foods high in energy, fats, free sugars and salt/sodium, and many people do not eat enough fruit, vegetables and other dietary fibre such as whole grains or nuts. We want to change that.

Marginalized Identities

We are proud to work with Getchusomegear, an organization collecting new and used coffee gear to distribute to marginalized coffee professionals. Getchusomegear looks for marginalized identity coffee business owners to give away cases of equipment needed to outfit their cafe as part of the initiative.

NutraMilk is a supporter of Chefs Cycle, an endurance event featuring award-winning chefs and members of the culinary industry fighting hunger outside the kitchen. Chefs Cycle has engaged member of the culinary community who want to push their physical limits by completing a 300 mile ride while raising funds and awareness in support of No Kid Hungry.

In 2010, Jose and Patricia Andrés had a big dream to start World Central Kitchen. They envisioned an organization that would use food to empower communities and strengthen economies. For many years now they have seen an amazing impact through their clean cookstoves initiative, culinary training programs, and social enterprise ventures. They receive requests from around the world to serve meals in the aftermath of disasters – and they have learned that food is a powerful tool to heal communities in times of crisis and beyond. NutraMilk supports WCK in its global initiatives.
