Mint Hot Chocolate

INGREDIENTS

For hot mint chocolate

  • 2 cups of almond milk made using your NutraMilk
  • 2 oz. chocolate (I used a mint dark chocolate bar)
  • 2 tbsp. honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • dash of cinnamon

For almond milk

  • 1 cup (150g) almonds
  • 1 quart (946ml) water
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pink Himalayan salt (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Create a fresh batch of almond milk using your NutraMilk.
    • Place almonds in the NutraMilk container.
    • Press Butter cycle, set for 7 minutes.
    • Press Start.
    • Add water and replace lid.
    • Press Mix (do not change the default Mix time).
    • Press Start.
    • Press Dispense, open spigot and fill your container with almond milk.
  • Place all ingredients into a pot on the stove and bring to a boil.
  • Transfer to a mug and top with mini marshmallows. Enjoy!
