Eat Dirt Smoothie with Pumpkin Seed Milk

INGREDIENTS

For pumpkin seed milk

  • 2/3 cup (90g) pumpkin seeds
  • 4 quart (946ml) water
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pink Himalayan salt (optional) 

For smoothie

  • 1 cup pumpkin seed milk or other plant-based milk made with the NutraMilk
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries, frozen berries
  • 1-2 big handfuls of spinach, or greens of choice
  • 1 cup ice 

For topping

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs or chopped chocolate

*Makes 1, or two smaller cups

INSTRUCTIONS

For pumpkin seed Milk

  • Place pumpkin seeds in the NutraMilk container.
  • Press Butter cycle, set for 5-6 minutes.
  • Press Start.
  • Open the container lid, add water and replace lid.
  • Press Mix (do not change the default Mix time).
  • Press Start.
  • Press Dispense.
  • Press Start and open spigot and fill your storage container.

For smoothie

  • Place all ingredients to the NutraMilk.
  • Press Start for 1 minute. Open container lid and serve- top with cacao and chopped chocolate.
