The NutraMilk not only creates delicious nut/seed butters and milks in minutes but much more. It is a processor that has so many uses including making flours!

We have created a few options of gluten-free flour alternatives that can be used in so many recipes. Take a look below:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup of raw grains or legumes (lentils, chickpeas, oats, buckwheat, quinoa)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place grain or legume in the NutraMilk container.
  • Press Butter cycle (default time). Depending on the grain or legume it will take different times to break down into flour. You can set it to the default time and keep an eye on it if its done sooner or you can just let it go until the default time is up.
  • Take the flour out of the NutraMilk and sieve it. There will be a little amount that doesn’t get completely broken down and you want to separate the flour that has a very fine consistency. Once you have sieved the flour- if at this point you still have a good amount of grain or legume that has not broken down you can place back in to the NutraMilk and run one more time to get a little more flour.

OAT FLOUR

CHICKPEA FLOUR

LENTIL FLOUR

QUINOA FLOUR

BUCKWHEAT FLOUR

ALMOND MEAL OR NUT/SEED MEAL.

You can also process any nut or seed to get nut meal and use it to cook/bake.

It´s the same process for all. In the case of nuts and seeds it usually takes 1 or 2 minutes and then you want to stop the NutraMilk as it will continue to make nut/seed butter otherwise.

Check out the instructions for almond meal here.
