Pumpkin seeds make a creamy, nutty, neutral-flavored plant-based milk. It's very refreshing cold, or great to use over cereal, in smoothies, in coffee or tea.

Pumpkin seeds are nutritional powerhouses, containing a wide range of vitamins and minerals. They're particularly rich in zinc, magnesium, manganese, copper and iron. Just one serving (1 cup) contains 11% DV* of iron, 12% of zinc, 33% of magnesium and 28% of phosphorus. Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup pumpkin seeds (90 g)
  • 1 quart water (946 mL)
  • pinch of Pink Himalayan salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place pumpkin seeds and salt in the NutraMilk container.
  2. Press Butter cycle, set for 5-6 minutes.
  3. Press Start.
  4. Open the container lid, add water. Replace lid.
  5. Press Mix (do not change the default Mix time).
  6. Press Start.
  7. Press Dispense.
  8. Press Start and open spigot to fill your storage container.
