INGREDIENTS

For strawberry Milk:

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
  • 3 cups oat milk made with @nutramilk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

For matcha:

  • 2 tbsp matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • aquafaba from 1 can of chickpeas
  • *you will need a hand mixer

INSTRUCTIONS

To create your strawberry milk:

  • Add the strawberries, oat milk, sugar, and vanilla to your blender and blend until there are no strawberry chunks left.

To create your matcha latte:

  • Combine the matcha powder, sugar, and water to a bowl and mix them together using your hand mixer. Mix for several minutes, until the matcha becomes thick and foamy.
  • Next, drain the water from 1 can of chickpeas into a bowl. Using your hand mixer again, mix the aquafaba (chickpea water) until it becomes foamy and white and forms stiff peaks (like you would get if you whisked egg whites). Add the matcha to the aquafaba and mix them together well.
  • In a cup, pour the strawberry milk, and then the whipped matcha over it. Top with whipped cream and some strawberries and enjoy!
