There is no better way to enjoy the flavor and the nutrition of coconuts than making coconut milk yourself. Commercial coconut milk has no vitamin C, unless its added in the process. This is because it’s the most vulnerable vitamin of all, very sensitive to light exposure, temperature and oxygen so by the time it gets to the grocery aisle the vitamin C is lost. Fresh coconut milk is actually a good source of vitamin C, providing 16% of the DV*.

It’s also a good source of electrolyte minerals (magnesium, potassium, sodium) and contains many other vitamins and minerals such as phosphorus, iron, calcium, manganese, copper and B vitamins. Coconuts are known to contain medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) that have been associated with reducing appetite, increasing metabolism and helping lose belly fat.

It takes a little extra time to prepare but it has never been easier than with the NutraMilk. Give it a try, your body will thank you!
