Coffee Pecan Milk

The rich, nutty flavor of pecans with coffee makes a delightful and wholesome blend!

Contrary to what some may think, coffee has some great nutritional benefits. It contains some essential nutrients but most importantly a large amount of antioxidants while pecans are full of vitamins, minerals, and phytosterols and they are the most antioxidant-rich nut.

Antioxidants, galore! Elevate your traditional coffee and start the morning off right!  Play around with this recipe and drink it hot or chilled, add a dash of vanilla, substitute the sugar with maple syrup or stevia and adapt this to your diet and lifestyle.

Yield: 1 quart (4 cups / 946 mL)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pecans (110 g)
  • 1 quart brewed coffee (946 mL) Note: Ensure that the coffee has cooled to room temperature before adding to your NutraMilk to avoid damaging your machine! Your beverage can be reheated if desired.
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar (or to taste)

Directions:

  1. Place pecans and sugar in the NutraMilk container.
  2. Press Butter cycle, set for 2 minutes.
  3. Press Start.
  4. Open the container lid, add coffee. Replace lid.
  5. Press Mix (do not change the default Mix time).
  6. Press Start.
  7. Press Dispense.
  8. Press Start and open spigot to fill your storage container.
